Attractions in Cape May, NJ
Built in 1880, the original wooden boardwalk was later destroyed due to years of harsh weather and the 1962 nor’easter. Eventually, the town rallied together and re-built with a seawall, topped with a concrete walkway.
Still referred to as the Boardwalk in Cape May, NJ, the Cape May Promenade is a paved path that runs alongside Beach Avenue and spans nearly two miles. From the Promenade, visitors enjoy beach and ocean views, shopping, dining, and so much more!
The Promenade is fun to walk, but others also enjoy biking or skating down the iconic Cape May structure. Due note though, from May 1st – October 31st, pedestrians can bike, roller skate, and in-line skates only from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Located just minutes from the sandy beaches of Cape May and the Promenade, Blue Fish Inn offers a convenient and quiet location to enjoy all that Cape May has to offer.
